Administration Assistant

We have an amazing opportunity for and accounts assistant or and admin assistant that is good with numbers to work for a very well-established contract caterer near Oxford. This is a permanent role, which is office based. 

  • Paying up to £22k , £11.30 per hour with plenty of opportunity for progression
  • Mon – Fri
  • 8.30pm – 5pm , 37.5 hour per week

The accounts assistant will be reporting to the line manager provide the necessary support to both the finance department and wider business

Some of the duties that are expected of the accounts assistant

  • Review, validate and then process weekly bookwork from site, to include purchase invoices, stock values, sales, meal numbers and site cash reconciliations
  • Perform weekly and monthly supplier statement reconciliations, both using Microsoft Excel and manual reconciliation methods. Produce and send remittance advices to suppliers for payments
  • Liaise with both suppliers and unit managers to resolve queries
  • Liaise with both site managers and cash collection provider to ensure cash is collected on time and queries are resolved quickly
  • Open and distribute incoming mail; process outgoing mail; scanning and filing; answer telephone calls; use of email
