Package description

Between £35k to £37k per annum

40 hours per week,

Mon – Fri between 7am – 3.30pm

Meals on duty

Uniforms supplied

Want a Mon – Fri job, tired of working evenings and weekends and want to work in a unit that takes pride in the food that they create, then this could be for you?

Our client is seeking a very experienced Head Chef to oversee the kitchen within a very high profile new  B&I site, near Surbiton, Surrey

The head chef will be working closely with the catering manager. Our client is looking for a creative and vibrant person who is passionate about food and who can offer the best service and quality food.

  • Catering for breakfast and lunch all from fresh produce
  • Creating and costing of menus
  • Working towards a budget, therefore need a good understanding of P&L accounts
  • Recruiting, training and motivating your kitchen brigade
  • Adhering to all the H&S and F&H regulations

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience gained in contract catering or hotels
  • Must be an excellent leader and motivator
  • Excellent people, organisation and communication skills
  • Very passionate in what they do
  • NVQ level 1 and 2 or similar
  • Someone who has the drive to succeed
  • A passion for food and its presentation, service and quality
